Sharemarket Wrap 22 June 2012

The All Ordinaries Index lost 39.9 points to end the day 0.97% lower at 4,093.8.
Downer EDI Limited (DOW) ended the day 2.5% lower to close at $3.12 after announcing that, in partnership with Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD), it has been awarded rolling stock supply and support contracts to design, build and deliver 19 new locomotives to Fortescue Metals Group Ltd in Western Australia. The total value of the project is over $73m.
Sundance Resources Limited (SDL) ended the day 7.5% higher to close at $0.36 after announcing that Sichuan Hanlong Group Co. Limited (Hanlong) has received Australian Government Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval for the proposed acquisition of Sundance. Hanlong will pay 57c a share to acquire Sundance.
