Sharemarket Wrap 29 June 2012

The All Ordinaries Index gained 49.9 points to end the day 1.2% higher to close at 4,135.5.
David Jones Limited (DJS) ended the day 14.6% higher to close at $2.59 after announcing that the company had received a $1.6bn unsolicited take-over approach from a non-incorporated UK entity (EB Private Equity).
Asciano Limited (AIO) ended the day 4.6% higher to close at $4.35 after reconfirming its earnings guidance that 2H12 EBIT will be above 1H12 and above the previous corresponding period.
