We all know what a horrid month May was. Buts let's just do a quick review of some of the markets.
The All Ords was down 7.5 per cent and the Australian dollar down 6.6 per cent. The US market fared marginally better, but not by much.
China on the other hand slipped by less than 1 per cent. This resilience in China had little impact on the resource side of our market, with the ASX Materials index falling by almost 11 per cent.
